New camera purchase I have looked at several bodies, but local stores don't seem to have the latest equip. I like the feature laden EOS Elan IIe and the Nikon N70. The Rebel G didn't have quite enough capability and the Pentax ZX-5n didn't have the automatic exposure settings. How does the Rebel 2000 compare to it's brother the Elan II? What's the real story on in the eye focus - will work with glasses or not? How do the Minolta XTsi, and HTsi stack up? What about the Pentax ZX-7? I really liked the Tokina (35-135?) zoom lens I had on my old manual Pentax for it's capability range allowing me to not have to carry a bunch of lenses around. I like the quietness of the Canon USM lenses and was told that you get best results using same brand bodies & lenses. Canon doesn't have a 28/35-150/200 range zoom, nor does Nikon. Will I be happy with a Tokina, Sigma, or Tamron zoom 28-200? I was told that the Sigma was better than the Tamron, but notice Tamron's ads touting their 'best lens award' for their 28-300.
