Portrait style photographs Does anyone else find it hard to view portrait style photos on this site or is just me. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I can never view the whole photo without scrolling down

I have to scroll down for both portrait and landscape to see the whole image. Maybe someone could come up with a suggestion to see the images without scrolling. UB.

I hope so it is hard to really enjoy the shot when it does not fit on the screen in its entirety.

I do not have any issues viewing portrait length photos on this site without having to scroll. Perhaps it has something to do with how you have set your monitor display settings. I have a 27" monitor set to 2560-1440, but there are usually 4 different settings which will definitely alter the size of the display. Find the one that is correct for your monitor. Hoping this is the issue.

Cindy my monitor can only be set as high as 1600 * 900, so maybe that is the problem. Thank you for letting me know this. Maybe I will have to invest in a new one.

John, the maximum resolution of my laptop screen is even less than yours, mine has 1,366 by 768. I guess I will have to live with it until I decide to buy a new one ! UB.

Usman I have seen your gallery and with your talent maybe you should find a photo contest where the winner gets a free laptop and enter it.

Thanks for the compliment, John. Here at BP, I see many photographers whose work is outstanding and is a constant source of inspiration to me, and I know there are so many avenues in which I could improve. Usman.
