I need to shoot underclassmen at a school (about 600 kids in one day). Is it possible to take a Mac G4 and fire wire it to a Canon D60 or Nikon D100 or a Fuji S2 and have the pictures saved onto a CD? (This has to happen fast!) I also want a set up (like this one) to use for Senior portraits. Is it possible to do it like this? Let me know. Thanks Al

Alan- Im not sure about Canon or Fuji but, you can bypass the camera's memory and connect a D series Nikon by firewire directly to your Mac (D1, D1h, D1x,the D100 isn't available yet). You'll need Nikon View, thier capture software. Have you considered picking up a couple 1gig IBM Micro Drives and using them?
