December 2012 Countdown Thread HAPPY NEW YEAR! January 15, 2013...WOW! Welcome to 2013 everyone! I hope that this new year is treating you all well with happiness, health and maybe some special treats from the BP judges. Susan, I think it has a good chance if it has a POTD, but it's not a guarantee. I once had a POTD that disappeared from everywhere else..that was back in the day when we could know such things..but it never reappeared until I resubmitted it, and then it got a 2nd place. I forgot to say that my Decembers run from "Mountain Fork River" on page 3 to "Crackin' An Eyeball" on page 6, if anybody wants to pick their faves.

Okay - my personal favorite by far from my own gallery is "Searching" - the woman in front of the National Portrait Museum searching through the trash. Susan stated exactly my reasons for loving the image - it tells a story. A sad story, right in front of an amazing building. Carolyn - "An Autumn Evening in Oklahoma" I didn't pick for anyone else because I don't know where December starts and ends. Please let us know! :)

Susan, I did a very quick check of the November POTDs for badges and found: 6 gold (including at least one 1st)

Thanks Martha! I was also cruising another gallery and they had a lot of POTD's and about 1/2 of them didn't advance. But that's ok with me cause I am just thrilled to have gotten a POTD, something I figured was as hard to get as a 1st Place!
