Resubmission procedure Is there a proper procedure, or even proper etiquette, for resubmitting a photo to the contest? If I am going to rework the photo, then obviously I would upload a new version, but if what if I don't want to rework it? Do I just go to the photo and reenter it? Or should I upload it again so that it starts "fresh", with no badges on it (like EP or finalist or whatever)? I have only resubmitted once, and I'm not sure I did it right ... Any info or insight would be appreciated. Thanks! Peggy

You can resubmit any photo with or without reworking it: you can upload it again in exactly the same form (although I don't see much sense in it: better reenter the photo you already have in your portfolio, you can also reenter photos with badges) or with changes, to the same or to any other suitable category, but you can also reenter the photo that's already in your portfolio (but only if you haven't already submitted it in the same month).

I'm convinced that winner selection is very subjective and will vary from month to month depending upon other factors. I first entered "Annie and Friends" in January and did not get an EP. I considered removing the photo to edit and try again with different effects but decided to re-enter the same photo in February and this time I got an EP. In March I again entered the same photo and this time I got a Finalist and then Second Place. The picture itself did not change but it went from no EP to Winner over three month’s time.
