How to make a custom preset on Canon 50 D I have had several DSLR's - Minolta and Olympus. They had a "preset" mode for sunsets that I really liked. I think it would underexpose by 2/3 a click and push saturation up a notch along with maybe a certain "warmer" WB.... My newest camera that I love and am trying to learn more on is a Canon 50D...can someone tell me is it possible to "customize" a preset for "sunsets" in the 50D...how would I do it...and what would be the best settings to set..ie..underexposure, WB, etc... Thanks

The 50D allows the user to define 2 custom exposure modes, C1 and C2. You set the camera up the way you want - exposure mode, metering mode, exposure compensation, metering mode, AF mode, ISO, WB, Picture Stye, etc. Then in the menu you register that set up as either C1 or C2. All those settings will be remembered and applied when you set the exposure mode dial for C1 (or C2). p. 186 of the manual. If your 50D is 2nd hand and you don't have the instruction manual, it can be downloaded from Canon USA at http://consumer.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_50d#BrochuresAndManuals.
