Just the opposite. Your film will be severely underexposed. The camera thought you had faster film than you did so it held back exposure. Doesn't your camera automatically read the DX coding on the film?

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your response. Yes, my camera does read the DX coding. I must have reset it manually. I wasted 15 rolls of film before I noticed the error. (expensive learning experience)My trip to Europe last week down the drain. My camera is a Nikon N8008. This is the first time I've made such an error. Never will happen again.
