Too Much Pre-Flash
I have an olympus E-500. When I take a picture using flash, the preflash happens over and over sometimes 3, 4, 5 sometimes 6 times before the actual shot. This takes away from the spontaneousness of the shot. Any suggestions???

I don't know for certain, but it sounds to me like red-eye reduction. I'm not sure how it works, but I guess if the flash goes off several times it prevents red-eye in the final shot. If I'm right, you should be able to turn that off, look in your camera's manual.
