Exposure Meters Does anyone know of a good, inexpensive, exposure meter? The only new ones I can find now are the fancy ones costing over $100 with LCD readouts, etc. All I can find on eBay are the old Westons, but I'd prefer a new analog that simply shows shutter speed and f-stop. Real simple. Thanks!

Seconic L-208 Twin Mate is about the only "old school" meter still made, but it's ~$95-$100. Otherwise, keep looking for vintage meters.

I have a small Digisix that was under $100 a couple of years ago. I got it at B&H Photo store. It is pretty accurate.

I also have a digisix. It's more than pretty accurate; it's spot on! These cost over 100.00 also. Kathlene, if you bought one for under 100.00 at B&H then you found a real deal. Average price is about 125.00. I found one on ebay for 90.00. It was new but in a shop-worn box. Hunt ebay. They have plenty of older meters. All types and brands. Dont worry about the old mecury battery. There are new replacement batteries on the market. Just make sure you do your research before you purchase an old meter. make sure its been checked and calibrated.

Here's a link to B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/257033-REG/Gossen_GO4006_Digisix_Ultra_Compact_Lightmeter.html The meter is 169.00! More than I thought.

Kevin, I got it on sale. I get their catalogs and stuff every so often and happened to notice they were on sale, so I bought one. I really like it.
