Getting Started, what to take I have been wanting to get into photography for a long time but havent had the equipment.So far all my photos are with a digital point and shoot. I will be finally able to get a digital SLR by the end of the year!! Yay!! My question is this, what are good subjects for portfolios and stock photography?

Register with one of the stock websites like "istockphoto" and so forth and they will often have criteria on what they want and don't want more photos of when registering so read the fine print and you will learn!... Use that to your advantage and shoot & post what they want.
