S9000 Slow FPS When I shoot RAW with my FujiFilm S9000, it takes about 1.5 to 2 seconds between shots. I'm writing to a SanDisk Ultra II Comfact Flash card. Is this a problem with my memory media or the camera itself?

I found a posting that shows the cycle time for shooting RAW with a S9000. It says it's 10.01 seconds. I don't know what cycle time exactly means though. Is that good for a 9 MP camera? I just want to know if my expectations are too high. Any input would be great.

I'm not a techie, but what speed is your card and what kind of battery does your camera use? I think both could be culprits.

If you waited for three months, you could just type the camera in search. You don't have a problem. 1.6 fps, Raw can take up to 10 seconds.
