external flash
i have an external flash I have had forabout 2 years only used a couple of times it dosent flash now I have switched batteries but still wont work.it is a sony brand

Kathy, it may be that the contacts in the battery compartment are corroded if you stored the flash with the batteries in. If you can access the contacts, perhaps with a pencil eraser, you may be able to clean them. Also try to reset the flash to its default operation settings. Beyond that, you may need to have a camera shop look at the flash. John
