Establishing Rates for Services and Prints

For the past year I've been selling photos to family, friends, people I work with, friends of friends etc. Generally, I've been pricing each job based on who there are, how long it will take met etc. We are now looking to expand our business and market ourselves better. I'd like to establish a good rate sheet for service and prints both framed and unframed. What is a reasonable hourly rate? I've generally used the markup method for prints depending on what I had to pay for the prints, frames etc. I'd like to establish a marketable rates sheet... any suggestions?

Are you being hired to take the pictures then person picks print. Or do you just take pictures and people want them to buy? Are you looking for new clients and keeping old clients. How much editing are you doing? Factor the answers to your question. Raising prices dramatically you may loose customers, keeping them low you may not make a profit. What do other photographers charge? Will your rates be competitive?
