BetterPhoto Guide to Digital Nature Photography

Hi Betterphoto members,

I know this has been announced in the recent POTD newsletter, I just want to share some more via the forum. We are very excited at BP HQ because we have finally received the much anticipated, newly released:BetterPhoto Guide to Digital Nature Photography authored Jim Miotke. Amphoto was very gracious to send Betterphoto 500 copies before the book is even released worldwide.

This book is pretty special to us at BP as the final product was almost a group effort, not only from staff members but from students, and BP members. Thanks to everyone for supporting Jim through the long days of writing, compiling images and generally giving lots of encouragement.

I know that you will all enjoy this informative book greatly. Just a quick update on the special promo with purchase: First 200 orders will receive a FREE Betterphoto.com® Canvas Tote, this promo is reaching its limit very quickly already. So, if you were interested in receiving this book yourself, or stockpiling some with a free tote bag for Christmas gifts, please order soon.

Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks so much,
Heather Young, Heather@betterphoto.com

Thank you so much Heather. I really enjoyed reading your post here about my new book.

You're absolutely right - this was a group effort. From the start, I asked the BetterPhoto membership if they had questions and points of confusion about nature photography. Within a few days, almost 1000 people responded! Those responses greatly fueled and directed my work.

And Team BetterPhoto, as well as my one-year course students, friends, and family, totally supported me during the process.

Thanks for all your helping this book see the light of day (and keeping down the fort in the process).
