Lens for Canon Rebel
I've just started out and I am using a Canon EOS Rebel G2 and have a 28-80mm lens that I found at a pawn shop.I would like to take scenic photos of the local mountains in our areabut some of these mountains aren't easy to get to, so I'm not exactly sure what lens to get to take these types of photos. Plus being a teacher I'm also looking for a great deal since I'm just learning!

I think that a 70 to 300mm zoom would be a good choice. That would give you coverage from medium wide angle to medium telephoto. There are many lens in this size available at reasonable prices. The Canon lens in this range are a good value for the money. Hope this helps. Bill
