Photography Question

Linda Reeder

Up load Aerial photographs to Aerial catagory?

How do I place my aerial photographs in the aerial catagory? Right now I have selected landscapes to enter my photos but would like to put the aerial shots into the correct catagory. Help please...

Subject categorization you see in the Gallery page is done by the BP staff and BP members do have that control.
I don't think all the photos get placed in these galleries.

I don't know if sending a message to BP (contact button below) would help to place your photo in the Aerial Phtography category, but you may try it.

I think Nobi, you've got a typo---did you mean BP Members do *not* have that control...
I asked Heather (here at BP) about that once months ago, and she indicated the classification of those photos is done by BP staff, but I don't know the criteria for having your photos selected to appear that way---I initially thought it was 2nd Place and higher, or the photos of Instructors. Not sure.

Thanks to both of you for the information- it may be worth a try to put Aerial in the title of the photo as it may be over looked among the 16,000 photos BP recieves daily. It is a concern though as today I've signed up for a deluxe web site with many of my photos being Aerial.

Hey Christopher, you got me..., "not" was missing.
nspb;nspb; "BP members do not have that control."
I have to have you proof read my writing from now on. Thanks, pal!!!

As far as I know, winning or being in the finalist group is not a requirement. (also please ignore "nspb" in the previous entry. Christopher, you were not available for proof reading, lol.)
