An Odd Error Message
The camera is the Nikon D70. An error message will sporatically occur, reading, "CHA" with a lightening bolt next to it. The camera will power off instantly. The memory card has to be removed and reinserted then camera powered back on. Has anyone ever encountered this issue? I can't seem to find anything in the owners manual regarding this error message. Help or suggestions greatly appreciated. ~Cheri

I don't know if this is the issue with some of the D70's or not, but there is a service advisory at www.nikonusa.com regarding a problem with the D70 where you can get it repaired for free.
