How to save scanned photos
Hi, I'm having trouble with scanning photos. I scan the the photo, then compress it to jpeg, & then click file & save as, but the window that comes up and asks where to save and save as gives me only 3 choices. 1)*tif- which will save in colour, but whenever I try to email it, the recipient can't open it. 2&3) are *awd,&*bmp both of which won't save in colour. I"d like to save in jpeg but can't fiqure out how. Bruce

What program are you using to scan your photos?

When I scan ,my photos I have them sent directly to my editing program and then you can save it as anything. Works quite easy for me.

The computer is Windows98se,& the scanner is a TWAIN, & I click on imaging. I don't believe I have an editing program.
