What type of photography do you do? Just for yourself, or as a business. If you're already done this as a business, do some leg work and book a sitting or two. Get a deposit up front, and buy a used camera from ebay or rent one. Then use the profits from the sale to maybe buy a new and better one. My camera broke, so I booked a party, and used the deposit to buy a new camera from ebay for $300. If you just like to take pictures, check out ebay, pawn shops, garage sales, etc.

I was in florida last January, I went to an artshow in FT. Lauderdale and there was a guy there selling B/W prints that he took around NYC with an old toy camera from the 60's or 70's. They were simply put, AMAZING!!! and let me say, he was getting some great prices too. I was amazed, wish I could remember his name for im sure he has a website. Craig- PS. make a "pin hole" camera.. theres plans for em on the net, do a search for pin hole camera instructions. Im sure youll survive.
