what will this vivitar 135mm lense fit?

It is a Nikon AI mount. Vivitar lenses are not the best in the world (unless it is an older one, some of which were very good.)

The Komine-made Vivitar MF 135mm/2.8 lens is a very good lens.

I saw your answer on the duplicate thread after I had already entered mine so I didn't know the year or maker. Yep, that one is an oldie but a goodie.

sorry Kerry & Will I was trying to get it to let me add the picture of it, and didn't realize it was still sending the rest of it. i'm a newbie. have a great day & thanks for your help. it does kind of suck though because I don't own a cannon camera. lol

Don't worry Carla. Even we oldies have problems with it sometimes. BTW, it fits a Nikon, not a Canon - an older Nikon at that.

okay Kerry I don't have a Nikon either. lol I was trying to hurry, and apologize to everyone for putting them through the trouble I did. do you think it would be worth my while to try & sell it? and if so what is it worth approximately? any help with this would be appreciated. thanks, have a great day, & I will leave you alone after this. I figure it will mean less chances to screw up again. lol

It's a good lens but probably not gonna bring you a lot of money. Try putting it on e-bay. Maybe someone else can actually tell you what it's worth. BTW, no trouble.

Carla, This older 135/2.8 MF Vivitar lens was made in the 1970's, and was/is a pretty decent lens, even by today's standards. I owned one back in the mid-'70's. However, in today's market it is virtually worthless. I mean to the point that it may not be worth the shipping & handling. If you can get $20-$30 out of it, consider yourself lucky. Sorry, but good luck. Michael H. Cothran www.mhcphoto.net

"...even by today's standards." With all the reports of new or nearly new lenses arrive with recalcitrant AF mechanisms, bubbles and optical mounting defects, etc. maybe it's more true to say 'especially by today's standards!'

Thank you Michael & George. Have a great day.
