Photography Question

Film Users and Weddings

I understand that most of you nowadays use digital cameras for wedding photography. But for those of you who use film still what film have you've had the best experience with? In both black & white and color. I am looking for your personal opinions and prefrences. I understand the best way for me to find out is to try it but I'd like to see what you all are using. I appreciate any comments!

Deborah, I have had great luck using the kodak portra ISO 160 NC (or VC) for the formals, and kodak UC ISO 400 for the reception and all the informals. Good luck. Keep me posted on what you may end up using.

  Deborah,
I use kodak Portra 160 NC or 160 VC, also. I'll use the Portra 400 if they dim the lights during the wedding. If I want some black and white, I still use the color film and the lab prints them black & white for me.
