Photography Question

Beach wedding phoos

A friend of mine is getting married next month on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico. Could someone suggest what color film should be used for this beach wedding and what grade? Also, anyone have any ideas for poses that would be suitable for this situation?

Jenny

  JENNY,
AS FAR AS POSES GO- GET ALL THE REQUIRED POSES, BUT THE ATMOSPHERE THERE SHOULD MAKE YOUR MIND JUST SWIRL WITH POSING IDEAS!! I DON'T BELIVE YOU'LL HAVE A PROBLEM.
*ALL THE COUPLE ON THE BEACH SHOTS,
A SHOT OF HER LIFTING HER SKIRT AND HIS PANT LEGS ROLLED UP ENTERING THE WATER WITH BARE FEET-
*AND THEN A CLOSE UP FROM SKIRT RUFFLE AND PANT CUFFS DOWN TO WATER AND BARE TOES -
*RINGS IN A TIDE POOL(DON'T NEED TO TELL YOU TO PICK JUST THE RIGHT SPOT,YOU LOOS 'EM YOUR DEAD.LOL.
DON'T FOR GET YORU POLARIZER.
I DO HOPE THIS HELPS,
DEBBY

  Print or slide?

Slide: Fuji Astia 100F
Print: Kodak Portra 160NC

If you're doing a picture with a sunset in the background, there's people in here who will help you with techniques. Basically you need to overexpose the image and turn your flash compensation down. There's other threads on here, maybe somebody will piggyback me on this.

good luck.
