Photography Question

Michael Warnock

Internet Explorer version

Hello all, sorry if this is too far off topic but I need to know how to check the version of Internet Explorer on my machine. I can't quite find this info on my computer. I, know...I DO feel sort of dumb asking this. Anyway, I'm building my own website in IE and would like to include a little blurb about what browser and settings it was develloped in for best viewing. I will be testing the site in Netscape and Firefox as well, don't worry about that.

Cheers,
Mike Warnock.

On the menu bar on top of the browser, where you see "file" "edit",..., click on the pulldown "help"..., select "about Internet Explorer". This will pop an small screen with the version information.

Mine says,
Version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_...
... means version 6.0 with SP2 (service pack 2 installed, etc...)
