Nikon N55
I have a Nikon N55. I have had a little over a year. a couple of weeks ago I had trouble when I pressed the shutter release it would release slowly and the when the pictures were developed they were blurry. I changed the batteries and the shutter release seemed to work fine again. Now when I press the shutter release it only focuses. It will not take the picture. The odd thing is that my mother-in-law has the exact same camera and hers is doing the same thing. Any ideas on what the problem is?

I would suggest contacting Nikon to see if other people have been having this problem. Also if you still have a warranty on it, to get it fixed.
