working for a magazine
I am new to the business of color photography and enjoy working in the field tsking pictures of oceanscapes, I have won a few contests and are getting ready to do an art show in Newburypory, Mass next month, how does someone like me get noticed for my works, my dream is to some day work for a magazine that takes photos of nature and landscapes,sincerely Brenda Muldoon-Oceanscape Photographer

Take Jim Zuckermans "Making Money" class. It's a great class for just this kind of question. It covers magazines and a lot of other avenues for selling and getting your photo's out there. Joe

I thought I was the only one who didn't see any lighthouses. All kidding aside,...If you've won contests...or have been previously published (anywhere), start a portfolio and start "pounding the pavement" to get your work, your name, and your reputation out there in what is an extremely competetive venture.
