Canon 20D and 4GB CF card
I would like to apologize if this question sounds silly or is something simple that I should have known, but I have a 2GB CF card for my 20D which works fabulously.My husband bought me a 4GB CF card for a surprise and I have found that when I insert it with nothing on it, it says that there is the same amount of space available on it as the 2GB CF card that I already have. Has anyone ran into this before or am I doing anything wrong? thanks,

Amber,
Did you format the cards? Press the menu on the back of the camera and choose format.

I had formated it, but just discovered that there was a little switch. 1st 2GB
2nd 2GB
and full 4GB. I had to switch it to 4 and then format it. Now it works, thanks for taking the time to answer. have a happy fourth. amber
