Printing old photos from Walmart

I have an old photo album of my grandmothers. I scanned in pictures using my HP ScanJet 5300C. When I tried to get them printed at Walmart.com, none of the print sizes was suggested for printing. Apparently the resolution is not great enough, even for a wallet size photo print.

hi Barbara I work at a Walmart in the photo lab your probably right about the resolution but you can do a 4x6 or a wallet and it will still look good if you go to your local store ask whomever is behind the counter to use an image correct after youve scanned them through it doesnt cost any more. provided they have the DPI fuji machine. hope it helps.   Barbara, maybe you should try scanning them again at a higher resolution. The default setting on your scanner may have been too low.

I usually scan photos at 600 dpi minimum.
