Problem using Canon EOS1D with external flash I'm using a canon EOS10D with a Canon Speedlight 380EX and getting inconsistent results - often underexposed. I'm setting the camera & flashgun correctly and Canon UK say that this flashgun is compatible with the EOS10D. Has anyone had similar problems?

I have no idea how you are using them, but one common problem with users new to EOS and E-TTL is focus/recompose/shoot. This does not work for E-TTL flash system.
