Canon S1 IS Circular Polarizer? Does anyone know if there is a type that I can use with this camera? If not one that attaches - can anyone recommend a suitable one just to be held in front of camera? At wits end ......

The lens does not have standard filter threads on the front. You'll need to attach the optional adapter, LA-DC52E. This will allow you to use standard 52mm diameter screw-on filters, as well as wide angle adapters or teleconverters.
