Old Canon locked up...
My OLD AE1 P shutter is stuck open. I replaced the battery, even though the old one was good. The camera is locked up. Can anyone please help me?

Dear Alan:
When you open the back door, do you see any portion of the shutter at all? There is a slim chance that if you see one of the metal clips that hold the end of the cloth shutter, you can nudge it with a fingernail and get the shutter to complete its travel, which might bring the mirror back down. Again, it's a slim chance.
