Developing Black and White Photos I'm using black and white film and I would like to develop them myself. Could you tell me what kind of equipment I'll need and could you suggest any book that will help me. Thank you very much. Lila

First thing, read Chris Groenhout's articles on the subject. There is one on developing your own film and one on printing these negatives in your own darkroom.

Secondly, I am currently reading an excellent book on the subject: The Darkroom Cookbook by Stephen Anchell. I am sure there are many more but this is one I am currently enjoying as we plan to build our own darkroom here.
