fill flash and no flash How do you force the flash or turn off the flash on my Canon Rebel 2000 EOS?

take it off the program modes so it dosen't pop up on it's own.

To force the flash on you have to go into the manual mode (M) on your dial, and push the lighting button, it's above the lens release button on the left of your camera. To shut it off you would have to work in manual mode not in the auto modes.
