Metz 60 Ct1 Mains Unit Does anyone know about the metz 60 ct1 running directly from household current without the dryfit battery? Is it possible? Does Metz make any mains unit for the 60ct1 or Ct4? Can't seem to find much info on the Internet. Any help out there is much appreciated

Hi Karim: i have a locally made 6V 3.8 Ah adapter equalent to dryfit battery voltage and using the same from main. I slimply plug in the main and front clips to the positive/negative point and working perfectly. Metz made a main power supply but too expenisve. Contact www.metz.de for further information. My adapter cost me hardly four US$ build by local technician. Think over it and a local technician can do the same but voltage and Ah should be perfect. Hope some help to u. GILL

For my self, I have resolve definitly that problem! I have modify the 60-½ power pack to accept a 20.$ wet cel battery. So when you pay for one stock batt I can have 5, ready to shoot.
