UV filters
I am interested in the Cannon Elph Sport kit to take on my trip to the Galapagos Islands because its small and you can take pictures under water. I have been told that since the island is so close to the equator you need a UV filter to take pictures. I don't believe this applies to underwater shots but what about on land? Do I really need a UV filter and if it's not something that comes standard built in - can I get one for this camera or any other camera for that matter?
