Recreational Beginnings I'm a beginner who wants to start taking pictures recreationally, and if I get good enough, professionally. I feel I have a good eye for it. I thought about taking classes but later decided to learn on my on, I'm not exactly sure what kind of camera to buy. I want something inexpensive but good, something not too complicated and something I can develop my own pictures, help me.......thank you

I really like my Canon Elan. It is easy to use and yet I can set it to manual exposure, aperture priority. I can get different lenses for doing close-up or super wide angle work. It's very simple and yet allows me to take beautiful pictures.
