Zoom Lenses

I own a Nikon F60 and have taken pictures for years with other cameras always on the automatic setting. Recently I have decided to learn as much as I can about photography and am experimenting using the manuel setting and bracketing.
I would like to move up to a zoom lens from my current 28-88 Nikon lense. From the research I have done I hear that the Sigma 28-200 Aspherical Hyperzoom Macro is very good and would allow me to take a wide range of shots. What about the Sigma 28-300 Aspherical IF Hyperzoom lense.
Should I go to that one or stick with the 28-200. I am not especially interested in taking pictures of wildlife but would enjoy taking candid pictures of people on the street. I also enjoy outdoor scenes, macro shots and maybe in the future indoor protrait shots. So you can see I am expecting a lot from one lense.
Also would both these lense fit on my F60 and possibly in the future Nikons N80.

Greatly enjoy this site
