Digital Cameras

I presently own a Kodak DC210 digital camera and have very much enjoyed using it for the last 2 years. Are there any digital cameras that can be operated remotely from a tripod with a cable? If so, can these cameras also power a lighting system to flash?

There are cameras that you can trigger with an electronic remote control. The Olympus C-2500, for example, can be fired with the optional RM-1 remote control.

More and more digital cameras are offering some way to use an external flash. Check out the Nikon Coolpix 950 or I believe you can get an adapter for your DC210. If not, you can always use a slave to trigger an external flash when the little on-camera flash fires.
