Photography Question

What lens should I buy?

I bought a Canon Rebel G about two years ago and I recently bought an A2 but I'm still using my Canon EF 28-80 lens I got with the camera and I am looking at getting something better to help my pictures, but I'm on a budget. I've looked at things such as a Tamron 28-200 or the Canon 28-105 USM, but basically I'm lost. Do you have any advice?

Great cameras - you almost can't go wrong. What are you looking to shoot? If you do not already have a good telephoto, I might recommend balancing out your 28-80mm with a nice 100-300mm. The Canon models - especially the expensive "L" series but also the more affordable EF - are excellent. At under $300, the EF will gives those on a budget the most bang for your buck.
