Contest rules question I haven't entered many photos since becoming aware of the rule to only ever enter any photo but one time. Do I misunderstand this rule or does that literally mean we can never enter a particular photo more than once? My problem is I have a huge archive of images, many have been entered and many have not. I have no way of knowing whether a particular image has been entered in the past and my old mind doesn't remember for me. Thanks for any clarification.

If you upload it as a new image, then the submission system will not protest. You cannot re-enter the image you already entered this month but if you upload a different version (e.g. with effects) then you can.

Sharon, BP doesn't enforce this rule. I don't believe it's posted anywhere, for reference, that you can't resubmit. Jim Miotke did mention it earlier this year but their process still allows resubmits. I've seen many EPs and finalists resubmitted month after month, that continue to win. You can check this month's contest entries; just go to the back pages and you'll see what I mean. My recommendation; do as Tia suggests. Just enter it again from scratch. With over one million uploads, I doubt the EP-picker will remember. :-)

Thanks, Tiia & Ken! I've kind of missed entering but can't recall for sure what I've entered.

Same issue here, Sharon - too many to remember, and I'm not about to wade through 850-plus photos every time I upload something. If I'm unsure, I just look at my entries for the previous month and if the one I'm uploading isn't in there, up it goes.
