Public reaction to Photoshopped ads Kind of aiming this question at people who do portraits, be for fun, business, or trying to get started as a business. But would like all comers to join in if they'd like. If you've heard about the public reaction to ads being photoshopped too much for the sake of people's self esteem, and England going as far as banning some ads, do you think that the enthusiasm for cutting back on the photoshopping of celebrities and models will have the same enthusiasm for not having their own portrait touched up and made more flattering?

I agree with Carolyn. When you get serious photos done, an individual most often wants to look as good as possible. After all the photo will capture them at their best presentation hopefully. A little enhancing won't hurt -- a total nose job, on the other hand, would not be representative of the individual.
