June Images' Titles & Descriptions While looking at my images, I noticed that my images are mis-titled with the associated descriptions also under the wrong pictures. Is this something that will self-adjust after the Finalists are announced? I'm afraid to fix them myself lest that will cause further problems.

I'm not sure I quite understand your question. Are they mis-titled because of a glitch at BP, or that you incorrectly typed in the wrong description and/or title? If it's the latter, you can edit your title and/or the words and resave it. It won't impact the judging proces, unless you delete the photo.

(This is about the Sun sitting on a chimney at Sunrise.) Each month, I copy and paste my Entries screen in order to keep track of what is entered for which date/category and if it received an EFP or Finalist. Up through June 30th, each was correct. It has to be a BP glitch of some sort.

I agree with Carolyn...if it's a BP glitch, it's best to let them know. But I bet he'll tell you that you could edit them after-the-fact, without impacting contest submissions...at least you'd know for the next time the glitch occurs. :-)

Thanks, Ken. I did do as Carolyn suggested (including attaching my Word Doc so he could see which way they shifted.) It probably would have helped if I hadn't made the assumption that it was all my fault before noticing that all of them were messed up. lollllllll So, now there are maybe 4 of them that I "fixed" (confusing things even more.)

I had the same problem 4X in the past year. BP said it was my fault, that I hadn't deleted my Safari "Cache" enough. Well, I have come to know the private email address to the head of BP's IT person, and when I have the problem, even on a weekend, I email him. I do not think it was my fault, that there was a glitch in BP's site for my galleries. I caught an error for one of them, and told them when that happened, and they deleted the error on that page, and all was well for that time. Since I have had two more episodes, so they just go back a couple of days and regenerate my photos. If any are missing, I have to find and upload them again. I asked them, too, if anyone else had this problem, and they told me only one other person, but it wasn't the same-must have been you-sounds like the same problem to me.

IT was very helpful to me. I didn't figure out the problem until it was too late for him to fix from his end of things. I have a feeling that I had deleted the wrong image of two uploaded ones. In my saving Doc, the one I showed as getting an EFP was the missing one. Anyhow, he told me that one other person had the problem at the same time, but to let him know the next time it happens. The funny thing is that one of the ones I fixed was one that got a Finalist, so it worked out well. Thanks for adding your story. We're lucky (as is BP) that with the thousands of images uploaded that these glitches don't happen more often, eh?
