Contest Results? I am fairly new to BetterPhoto.com and just have not figured out how to see the results from December 2011. I put in a search and end up with ten year old results. Can anyone tell me how to see the winners? Thanks,

the winners for december have not been announced yet.. you can see the winners for november by going to the heading PHOTOS then to CONTEST WINNERS... then click see previous winners.. that should take you to all the winners for the past few years and they are broken down by month.

An easier way is the membership pulldown menu above, click on contest, then the contest page will show up and you can click on recent winners (under the picture)..that will give you the last month that has been completed.

LOL carloyn.. I have been looking for that page for about 6 months and could never find it... LOL... thanks... just goes to show doesnt matter how long you are a member you still learn things..

I know what you mean..I keep all my pages I want to be able to find quickly in my favorites (or bookmark), then I put all the BP stuff together, so it's all in one place and I just have to click on whatever I'm looking for.

Hi Harriet; welcome to BP! One more thing... typically, once each monthly contest closes on the last day of that month, it is anywhere from about 15 to 22 days (on average) into the next month before the Finalists from the closed month are announced. The Winners from that round are then usually announced 1-3 days later. Sometimes the Finalists are surprisingly early (as early as the 11th of the month) and sometimes they go very late into the next month (such as the 30th). So---fingers crossed we'll see December Finalist results in the next 3 - 5 days! Also, if you enter the contest and make it to Finalist, you'll receive a BP email telling you so. (And if you go on to win, you'll get another email from BP about that.)

I want to thank everyone for the response. I now know where to find the winners and I now know that it can take a while for the winners to be announced. With all the wonderful photography, I can certainly understand why. I would hate to be a judge. Thank you,
