How to get pictures off camera If I am with someone who has their camera and card and they wish to download the pictures to my computer and I do not have their imagebrowser, can I download their pictures in another way?

Yes - but it depends on the camera and computer. In general, you should be able to copy and/or move the images to your hard drive, provided you have a cable and proper connectors to do this.

All I have is their camera and the cable that connects to the computer. I have Windows XP. Can I download within Windows XP?

You bet - if the cable will connect to the computer - you should be able to move and/or copy them to the hard drive. Windows XP will allow you to do a slide show of the pictures as well. hth
