Studio Lighting
I have a JTL Everlight Kit w/500 watt quartz halogen bulbs. I've been studying with them and test shooting with them, but can't seem to get the studio lighting that I want. All my prints keep coming up with an orange-ish cast over them. Why is that?I placed the main light at a 45 degree angle and the diffused fill next to my camera. And I work with 35mm film. HELP! I can't figure this one out! :) :) Thanks a bunch!!! :)

Michelle, My first question would be..."What type film are you using?" If your prints are "orange-ish", you need tungsten-balanced film to match your lighting set-up. You could also use your current film choice, and add a corrective filter to the lens (blue 80-A filter), to eliminate the orange cast.
