I have had this problem myself. Make sure you turn it to the orientation you want it and then you save it before you upload it. Some other people told me that uploading from a phone is worse... Also try to make sure the pictures you are uploading are in the recommended range for pixels. If the picture has to many pixels it makes the problem worse. Are you using the Alternate Image Uploader? When I had that problem I switched to that uploader and now I don't have a problem.
