Why I can't upload vertical photos I am having a problem uploading vertical images in the Alternate Image Uploader. Every time I upload a vertical photo, unless I use the mobile option, it always flips it to a horizontal picture. I really want to be able to upload all my photos on the Alternate Uploader rather than just my horizontal photos. Is there anything different I can do or if you have a free site is that just the way it is? Any tips? Thanks in advance, Rosina

Rosina, I've always used the alternate image uploader and never had a problem. I'll be curious if others are having the same challenge as you.

I see this on other sites. I don't quite understand, but I think you have to save it first in the orientation you want it in. Then upload it. Does that make any sense? If you still can't get it to work, I'll try to find out more.

Found these two answers to the same question - well, almost the same - a wrong orientation - on the forum of another site. Maybe it's the problem here, too. You are trying to upload from a phone without saving it as a vertical.

Hey thanks everyone for the advice. I think I found out my problem though:). My pictures were to many pixels so whenever I would try to upload a vertical photo it turned it landscape to make it the right amount of pixels so it could upload it. I converted all my pictures to a smaller amount of pixels and now my pictures upload fine. Thanks any way for your helpful advice, Rosina
