What happened to this RAW File??? I took the camera out last night and I think I had somehow locked the camera up or something. I could not get the shutter speed to go above 1/250 sec when in manual mode and when looking into the view finder, there meter bar would disappear. I reset everything to factory settings and there haven't been any more issues with the actual camera. All images I took last night uploaded fine to the computer with no problems or crazy lines (differnt memory card though). So, what do you think?????

Sounds like the processor. Also you may check and see if you have the latest Firmware for this camera. www.canon.com/eos-d is the site for firmware upgrades. If this isn't it, I would take your camera to the place you bought and see if it is under warranty and if so, get it fixed or replaced. If the firmware is up to date, then the processor may be getting ready to dump on you.

Ok, I just re-read and something else stood out to me. If this problem happens with only one card, then when you locked up the camera and had to do a reset, something may have happened to the card that was in the camera and it may be that the card is toast. Cards are cheap, throw it out and get another.
