what happened? I usually use my canon elph 2 as a second camera to have in my purse, and in the images I just developed, there are white scratches scattered all over the pictures(I used black & White film for this.) Is this dust that I need to remove, or can anyone help me figure out what else it could it be? Your help is much appreciated.

i work in a photo lab this is a problem for a lot of people, if your camers is empty ask your lab to blow it out for you ,they usually do it for free, make sur you keep it in a case tiny particles get in there just loading your camera so be sure to look in it with a flashlight once in a while ,i dont recommend doing this if your not careful,but a quick shot from your blowdryer on low wont hurt it but do a real quick pass.
