Shooting indoors where there are spotlights I will be shooting in a car museum where the cars are polished to a mirror finish and there are numerous spotlights, at all levels, highlighting the cars features. I would like to know how to 1) minimize the impact of the spotlights as much as possible and then 2) how to utilized the effect of the spots to my best advantage.

I don't think you have too much to worry with here. Just be sure that one of the spot lights is not shining or reflecting directly into your lens, or even off to the side where it will produce flare. Michael H. Cothran www.mhcphoto.net
