Specific Questions about the Mavica CD500 I am a real estate agent and have recently decided to buy a digital camera that burns images directly to disk. So far I'm thinking that the Mavica CD500 will probably work for me, but am unclear as to whether or not it will also use memory cards or if you are limited to only the CDs. Also, I know with the older model that used a floppy, you could erase photos after saving them... is that still possible on the CD format? Can I reuse my CD's over and over if I need to?

Had the first Mavica, it is a great macro picture camera, but on mine being older you could not dump pictures, so you were stuck with that image and buying alot of the cd's which have come down in price. I also, took group pictures with this camera they turned out great I have to say the colors were wonderful, you do need a tripod for macro work. Only limitations are not being able to switch lenses, and and zoom shots of long distance. Also I couldn't upload to a Mac computer but all store now have the photo machines for cds. Debbie
